Seconds Interval Timer
The Ecotechnics interval timer range has been designed to provide growers with a greater degree of control in their growrooms.There are two standard time ranges available, a Minutes Interval Timer and a Seconds Interval Timer (featured here). Both Timers feature dual 16 position set switches allowing accurate and independent settings for both on and off times.
Seconds Timer
The Seconds timer has an 'on' range of:15 Seconds to 4 Minutes. And an 'off' range of 1 Minute to 16 Minutes
This timer will find many applications in the growroom and is suitable for controlling C02 discharge, controlling irrigation cycles in flood and drain and NFT systems, exhaust fan cycles etc.
Setup & Use
The timer must first be connected to the appliance which it is to control. This should be done using the standard IEC type mains connector provided. Power connection to the timer is via the mains lead provided.
Once the timer is connected the timing can be set up using a small screwdriver to select the time setting as displayed on the setup chart located on the front of the timer.
i.e. with the arrow pointing at Position 0 on the rotary selector, the time setting will be the First indicated period on the setup chart and with the arrow pointing at the F position on the rotary selector, the time setting will be the Last indicated period on the setup chart.
Mains voltages can be lethal especially in the presence of water.
Isolate mains before removing cover.
Timer outputs are rated for resistive load at 230V A.C.
We recommended that an external high current contactor be used for the control of heavy inductive loads such as lighting ballasts 4Amps
